Abstract

Congenital malformations of the anterior abdominal wall, such as omphalocele and gastroschisis, are the most common causes of compartment syndrome after primary closure. Modern methods for diagnosing intra-abdominal pressure allow us to predict the risk of an unfavorable outcome after primary abdominoplasty and guide the choice of surgical treatment, monitoring the timing of the staged surgical procedures.
